it feels so good to be back home =)
but the amazing thing is that i have gotten all the things on my "to-get-list". and i totally believe God had a way in them all.
1. i got my 4GB MS Duo card. got it while walking around Vivo. wasn't looking for it in particular when i went there but just stumbled upon a shop. so yeah now i can listen to more songs and also take more photos since my cam and phone share the same type of memory. great for the trips ahead!
2. was looking for a backpack for my europe trip and found this bag at Sports Connection in Plaza Singapura. and i found it to be discounted to SGD$169! the original price was SGD$300+ . i hesitated and came back the next day to get it. it must have been God's blessing to find a nice looking bag that came with a nice price. here is my Osprey Waypoint 60 =)
and guess what?? i went to Tear Proof in KL (which has the same owner as Sports Connection) and saw the price here. it is a whooping RM908 bucks! and yeah not exaggerating but yeah God certainly provided me with the good bag even with so little time to search for one. oh boy.. its not over yet..
3. i have been searching for a camera tripod. a good, sturdy and not cheap looking one =P and i was recommended the Manfrotto 718SHB tripod. i went to Cathay Photo (the distributor of Manfrotto in Sg) 2 months back and was told they were out of stock. last week i called them again and also called a friend who has connection to get it but was told "out of stock". i was then placing my hope in getting one in Malaysia. i found out that the tripod was "out of stock" in Eng Tong (which is the distributor of Manfrotto in My). i was told to wait for 1 week for shipment might arrive then. but i leave for NZ tomorrow.... searched for the tripod high and low almost every photo shop i walked past. spent this morning calling shops up in KL to find out whether they had stock left. and all said "no stock" or "man-fooo-what?" yeah. and as i walked passed a shop in Mid Valley today, i saw there were tripods.. i went in... and for the 1st time i saw the Manfrotto 718B in real life =)
(718B is the same as the 718SHB just a taller one. they no longer produce 718SHB)
well call it luck, hunting skills, or whatever.. but i believe it is definitely God sent. just in time for my trip tomorrow. i was dumb-strucked. i remembered praying about it last night to God =P so yeah. amazing stuff even though these are just material things.
