Chinese New Year
2nd year in a row away from home during CNY. Had a lovely time with my parents as they arrived in Singapore on the 1st day =) I am definitely looking forward to celebrate CNY with my sis one of these years, perhaps when I graduate. I realize Chinese New Year is really more of family time for me (apart from visiting friends). It seemed weird years back when everyone has tonnes of relatives to visit while I have only "a countable with my hands" amount, whom I am not close to at all.
Well, my family is a little different and ain't the conventional Chinese family with all traditions and stuff. Thats all I can say.
Last night, I took my parents down to Chinatown to have dinner and the sights were pretty interesting. Would definitely love to go back there one of these days when time permits. Can't wait to check out the area around Ann Siang Hill.
