Film : Xposed! done. happy!

We had a kids filmmaking workshop (Film : Xposed!) today =) It was exciting. Thought I would suck at kids.. but haha I had so much fun chasing and playing with them. I facilitated mostly upper primary kids.. and they were crazy. Haha got "bullied" most of the time.. but i "bullied" them back..
But what I found most satisfying is to see kids taking charge of shooting a scene especially the director shouting to all his other friends to keep quiet and concentrate.. It seemed like a real set but the only difference that it was with kids. Editing was also quite satisfying as they took initiative to edit their own "short" film without much help. They made my day even after all the running, shouting.. seeing the filmmaking culture reaching out to kids is just SO awesome! I was smiling so much during the workshop =D
The last NUS Arts Festival event for this year is done =) now we can start working on more projects and productions! exams are coming, n things are getting quite tight! But I totally trust in the Lord that He will take care of everything else.
Had a good reminder at service today when Pastor Michael Ross Watson spoke today bout having to be able to put all relationships, ambitions and possessions after God. And that He will provide no matter what it takes. Really humbles me each time to really consider every single talent, gift, opportunity, material possession is from God and to really know that He provides. And that without Him I am really nothing (zilch).
Luke 14 : 25-35
Was also refreshing yesterday when Pastor Charissa talked to us (cell ppl) bout the importance of LOVE. It is so so important that it precedes every other thing. 1 Corinthians 13.
I have been constantly reminded by God that the reason why I am in school, why I am in nuSTUDIOS, why I am where I am right now is not because of the achievements and future prospects that I am hoping for but rather living every single day knowing that the PEOPLE around me matter the most.
